Crystal Palace are battling it out with La Liga giants Atletico Madrid to sign young French defender Rayan Ait-Nouri from Ligue 1 side Angers.
The 18-year-old has already been capped at France Under 21 level and, according to L’equipe, has serious admirers both in England and Spain.
The left-back has reportedly already had discussions with Palace, while Atletico are monitoring his progress.

His agent is Jorge Mendes and, with a contract running until 2021, it is believed a fee around the £25m mark will tempt Angers into business.
He has played 15 times for the French side this season, who are eighth in Ligue 1.
Palace manager Roy Hodgson has previously stated that he hopes to bring in four or five players in January, and the club earlier confirmed the arrival of striker Cenk Tosun from Everton on loan until the end of the season.
